Curcuma Anna Paulowna
Mosaics of flowers bloom in the town of Anna Paulowna in the Netherlands and this Curcuma fits that description perfectly. With an array of colours that all seep into one another, a gradient of pastel-green to strawberries and cream at the top. Those gentle green hues blend with the leaves and stems while soft pink bracts appear symmetrical in the shape of waves.

In a well-draining pot that compliments my exotic blooms or in the ground as a part of a tropical garden, in a greenhouse or border.

Somewhere with a good amount of natural light and warmth.

Somewhere warm and sheltered like in a tropical garden bed, border or greenhouse.
WATER ME
Every day during my growing months while my leaves grow and flowers bloom. Don’t water me while I’m dormant.
FEED ME
A fertiliser high in potassium and phosphorus every month of Spring and Summer (my growing months).

NOTES
My rhizome can be harvested and stored somewhere warm, dark and dry for future propagation. I’m part of the Ginger family – similar to the type we eat and have a rhizome that looks and smells similar.
