Anthurium Paris Black

The Anthurium Paris Black is an elegant and rare plant that will add exquisite character to your home. It flowers all throughout the year and thrives in comfortable to humid temperatures. Its long verdant leaves, accompany the intense dark chocolate flower that grows in a striking heart shape with a similar coloured spathe. PLANT ME

In a well-draining pot or container. We suggest white for a stunning stark contrast.
I also love to grow in humid, tropical garden beds.

KEEP ME IN

A sheltered position with a good amount of filtered light. I love being inside.

PUT ME OUT

Planted in a nice pot or container indoors or in a well shaded outdoor area as long as you remember to bring me inside where you’re warm.

WATER ME

Once a week in the warmer months then every two or four weeks in the cooler months.

FEED ME

While I grow feed me once a month with a balanced fertiliser that contains a high amount of phosphorous. Remember less is more with this.

I LIKE

A comfortable temperature, the kind that you like too. Some humidity is appreciated to and a gentle mist with water every now and then.

MY FLOWERS

Bloom all throughout the year and look exceptionally regal as cut flowers in a gothic vase.

Care Tips	If keeping me indoors don’t be afraid to wipe me down with a wet cloth when I get dusty to maintain my glossy leaves and spathes. Root-rot isn't fun, so be sure that you are not overwatering and that I am settled in a well-draining container with porous soil. Make sure my top layer is semi-dry before watering again. I don't like the cold so pay attention to what temperatures you find comfortable and keep me there (I do love humidity).
