Mid-summer beauty surrounds us here in the Obi Obi valley. This month is prime time for our gingers; they are all in flower now and will keep being just gorgeous for a few more months to come. If you didn’t get any yet; now is the best time. We have a wide range of varieties at offer! There are many different forms of gingers e.g. Curcumas, Globbas and Torch gingers. |

In our gallery you can find pictures of all of them. If you would like to have a copy of our current availability list contact Kerry and Franzi in the office!
Our Curcumas are: Siam Tulips, Cordatas, Roscoeanas, Rubescens, Laddawan, Voodoo Magic and others. Curcumas form colourful bracts from either a shoot or directly out of the rhizomes and most of them originate from the tropical forests in Thailand. |

Our Globbas are: Thai Beauty Red Back, Thai Beauty Mauve, Golden Dragon and Guardian Angels. Globbas are recognizable by their long stamen stalk. They grow up to 2 feet tall and produce pendulous inflorescence made up of many colourful bracts with tiny dayflowers that shape reminds of a dragon. Most Globbas originate from Malaysia. |
