Can I have the same plant in my Box?

Absolutely!  You can choose which ever variety of plant from either our Indoor Range, or our Anthurium Range to build your box.

What's an Indoor Plant Box?

The Indoor Plant Box is made up of a collection of plant varieties that grow best indoors, or in a sheltered and shaded section of your garden.

They include: Alocasia, Caladium, Calathea, Ctenanthe & Philodendron.

Not included in the Indoor Plant Box are the Anthurium's as they're a little bit more expensive.

What's an Anthurium Plant Box?

The Anthurium Plant Box can be made up of any of our Anthurium plants.

We keep these separate from the Indoor Plant Box varieties as they're a little bit more expensive.

Why do some plants say "still growing"?

The plants that we have available for sale change weekly according to how our plants are looking.

Because of this, some plants may be "still growing" which just means that they're in season, and they should be ready in the coming weeks.

If there's a particular plant you're chasing that's "still growing" you can always register to be notified when it's back in stock.

The plant pricing are still showing up at full price.

When buying a Double or Triple Plant Box, the discount is applied as soon as you add the second or third plant to your shopping cart as you can see from the images below.

Are the photos of the exact plants sent?

Our photos are to indicate the general shape, colour, form and size of the plants you'll be receiving.  Formation, colours and number of leaves do change between plants, however, we have strict guidelines on what makes a plant acceptable for sale which means our photos are pretty accurate.

 

Will my Anthurium have flowers?

No, a 75mm Anthurium won't yet have flowers and will usually need to be potted up to a larger pot before it will start producing.

We've displayed photos of the Anthurium flowers so that you can see the colour and shape of the flowers, once they appear.

Can I send a Plant Box as a gift?

Sure!  And what a fantastic alternative to sending a bunch of flowers to someone special.

All you need to do, is put your friends address in the Deliver Address and let us know in the Order Notes section that it's a gift for someone.

How do I use my Coupon Code?

Once you've added plants to your shopping cart, you'll be able to add your Coupon Code to apply the discount.

What payment options do you have?

We accept PayPal, Credit Card via Strip & AfterPay for your orders.

Do you have AfterPay?

YES!!! We do and we're just as excited as you are about that!

Why is Express Shipping the only option?

Express Shipping is the only method available for our online orders because we really want your plants to arrive as fast as possible.  While our packaging makes sure they're safe, secure and kept damp, they still need to be out of the dark as soon as possible.

What's your return policy?

We want you to absolutely love your new plants and have them thriving in their new home so we'll always work with you to resolve any issues with your plants if they've had a bit of a rough ride.

If there's any issues with your order, please email us photos of the box that they came in and photos of the damage to the plants within 3 days of receiving your Order Dispatch email.

From there we can either send out replacements or issue you a Store Credit.

Why is Express Shipping the only option?

Express Shipping is the only method available for our online orders because we really want your plants to arrive as fast as possible.  While our packaging makes sure they're safe, secure and kept damp, they still need to be out of the dark as soon as possible.

How much is Shipping going to cost?

Our Plant Boxes are only sent via Express Shipping and are calculated on the weight of packaging and the plants.

Single Plant Box   = $11.30
Double Plant Box = $16.43
Triple Plant Box    = $16.43

Our Rhizome Boxes are sent via Express or Standard Shipping and are calculated on the weight of the packaging and the Rhizomes.

Standard Shipping = $8.30
Express Shipping   = $11.30

Who will my order be sent with?

We ship our Plants & Rhizomes with Australia Post via standard or express shipping.

How soon will be order be sent?

Where do you ship to?

Shipping is only available within Australia.

We're restricted with where we can ship to based on Bio Security regulations.

Because of that, we're unable to ship orders to Western Australia and Tasmania.

How will my plants be packaged?

We've worked tirelessly designing our own custom boxes that are exclusive to Palmwood Tropicals.

These boxes have been custom made to perfectly fit either one, two or three of our 75mm plants in a way that securely locks them in place for the duration of their journey.

The tops of the pots are packed with coconut fibre which helps the plants retain water and can be used as a mulch substitute for your plants.

And if you need any more convincing that our packaging is secure, ask our nursery hands about the "testing process" which involved throwing a sample box around the paddocks to make sure the plants are still safe at the end of it.

Directions

Access to our nursery is either via the Obi Obi range from Mapleton, or through Eumundi and Kenilworth.

The Obi Obi Road via Mapleton has a vehicle weight and size limit and is not recommended for large vehicles or some trailers.  For more information, please contact Main Road.

Coming from Eumundi to Kenilworth is how large vehicles access our nursery and is the most direct route while avoiding the range.
