Flowering gingers are very popular and always a nice gift for a special person. Their flowers last for several weeks and some of them are ideal as cut flowers. Most alismatifolia types should be grown in full sun while the other varieties require shaded positions. They are deciduous throughout winter. They produce flowers from about December to May each year. |
